Good typography is the typography you don't notice.
The moment you think "oh, nice font" — something is wrong. The text has called attention to itself rather than to its meaning.
Bad typography is loud. Good typography disappears into the reading experience and leaves only the ideas.
This is true of most design. The best UI is the one you don't remember using.
